BnB Holiday: Frequently Asked Questions [FAQ]

  • How do I create a booking?

    In the 'Booking' module, click on 'New Booking', choose check in and check out dates and fill out the guest info. Click the 'Save' button to save your booking, and your booking is created.

    Now you can print a booking confirmation, create a PDF or send the confirmation to your guest via email.

  • How do I send a booking confirmation to my guest?

    After you've filled out the booking template, save it by clicking on the 'Save' button. You will now be able to send the confirmation by email directly to your guest - just click the 'Send' button.

    Alternatively, you can click the 'Print' or 'PDF' buttons, in order to print the booking or create a PDF document, respectively.

  • How do I create a receipt?

    If you have already created a booking for the guests stay with you, just click on the booking to open it, then click the 'Create Receipt' button. Your receipt will be created automatically from the booking. If you need to add any additional charges, just click on the 'Add Payment Line' button to add them. After saving you can print, PDF or send the receipt to your guest.

    If there is no booking yet, go to the receipt template and fill out the receipt by adding the guest information and receipt lines. To add a receipt line, just click the 'Add Payment Line' button.

  • How do I send a receipt to my guest?

  • How do I add a unit?

    To add a unit, just go to 'Units' and click on 'New Unit' button. Fill out the unit name, maximum number of guests, VAT/TAX (if applicable), availability and your rates. Click on the 'Save' button and your unit will be added.

  • Can I have more than one rental property?

    You can list as many units (apartments, rooms, bungalows, houses etc.) as you'd like under the same business name and profile. If you need to use more than one business name, however, you will need to create several BnB Holiday accounts. Please contact support at: support@bnbholiday.com.

  • How do I create a website?

    Open the 'Website' module and fill out the information about your rental business. To add new rental units, just click the 'Add Unit' button. You can add as many units as you want. To see how your website will look when published, click on the 'View' button.

    When you are happy with your website and ready to publish, click on the 'Publish' button, choose a URL, and your website will be available to the world (after it is approved for publishing by us).

    Note! The link to your website is displayed on top of the website page.

  • How do I publish my website?

  • What is my URL?

    The URL of your website is https://bnbholiday.com/your-subdomain, just substitute 'your-subdomain' with the name you chose when creating the website.

    After publishng the URL of your website is displayed on top of the website page, for your convenience.

  • How do I sign up?

    Just go to the sign up page, fill out your email address, choose a password and click 'Register'. This will create your account and you can now create and publish a website, manage your bookings, and interact with your guests.

  • How do I get help?

    If your problem is not among the FAQ question, please contact support at: support@bnbholiday.com. Our excellent support team will help you out as soon as they can.

  • I found a bug. How do I notify you?

    Please contact support at: support@bnbholiday.com and give a detailed description of the bug, which page it appears on and what actions trigger it. We will be very grateful for your help.

  • Is BnB Holiday secure?

    Yes. BnB Holiday uses a state of the art 256 bit SSL security certificate to secure and encrypt data.

  • Is BnB Holiday GDPR compliant?

    Yes. BnB Holiday complies with the GDPR data protection regulations. You can read more about it in our privacy policy.

  • We are closed part of the year. How does that work?

    Not a problem. If you choose to define price and availability periods your units will only be available for booking within the periods you define.

    Note! If you do not set a price and availability period, the unit will be available all the time, but withouth a defined price - 'Price on request'.

    Does BnB Holiday charge a commission?

    No. BnB Holiday does not charge you or your guests any commission or fees for bookings.

    How do guest pay?

    All payments are collected directly by the host. You can collect the payment after the guest has arrived or specify a payment option on the booking confirmation under 'Additional Information'.

    BnB Holiday does not handle payments.
